How This Affects Our Reviews

It doesn't — and here's why we're confident saying that:

• The affiliate commission rate is identical regardless of which product we rank #1. A $30 attachment and a $500 bidet seat earn proportionally similar commissions based on sale price. There is no financial incentive to rank more expensive products higher.
• Our rankings are derived from aggregated review data, not editorial opinion. The products that rank highest are the ones with the highest weighted satisfaction scores in our dataset. We can't manually override data rankings without making our methodology publicly inconsistent.
• We link to Amazon search results pages (not specific product ASINs) in most cases, meaning Amazon's own algorithm determines which specific product variant the buyer sees. We don't deep-link to specific products to optimize conversion at the expense of giving buyers the right product for their toilet size and preferences.
